Claudia Boerescu is the Director of Teaching and Learning at Newham College, where she leads institution-wide strategies to improve teaching quality, foster innovation, and promote evidence-informed practice. With extensive experience across both further and higher education, Claudia has worked as a senior lecturer, academic liaison, programme lead, and educational leader—playing a key role in curriculum development, teacher education, and whole-organisation improvement.

A passionate educator and mentor, Claudia has designed and delivered high-impact teacher education programmes that have supported trainees and staff to achieve outstanding outcomes.
